How to Play Wordle
Wordle is a word-guessing game where you try to find a hidden 5-letter word in 6 attempts. After each guess, the tiles change color to show how close your guess was to the secret word.
Rules
Type a 5-letter word and press Enter to submit your guess. You have 6 attempts to find the hidden word. Each guess must be exactly 5 letters long. After submitting, the tiles will flip and reveal color-coded feedback. The game ends when you guess the word correctly or run out of attempts.
Color Feedback
🟩 Green means the letter is correct and in the right position. 🟨 Yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position. ⬜ Gray means the letter is not in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard also updates to reflect which letters you have already used and their status.
Tips & Strategy
Start with a word that contains common vowels and consonants (e.g., CRANE, STARE, AUDIO). Use the color feedback to eliminate letters and narrow down possibilities. Avoid reusing gray letters. Try to place yellow letters in different positions in your next guess. Think about common letter patterns and word structures in the selected language.
